Greeters

The Greeters are often some of the first and last points of contact for the Church with the individuals, who pass through our doors.  The warm smile and helpful direction of the greeters often stays with the person long after they leave the Church...sometimes even longer than the homily, says Fr. Brashears.  One of the great litmus tests for the Christian people, rightly or wrongly, for returning to a community is whether or not their experience was friendly.  While this responsibility of being Christ-like falls to each one of us, the Greeters minister to both the faithful and the visitors in this particular way of love.
